Those hot summer days are perfect to get out to the beach and enjoy lounging in the sun, jump off the trampoline into the waters of Big Pine Lake or swim the Sven Seas. Wait, Don't you mean the Seven Seas? This is Minnesota and even Sven, Ole and Lena like to enjoy a dip in the lake.

While your out playing water frisbee and snorkeling make sure to take a break and take in what our beach has to offer. You can catch some sun or lounge around in the shade in a beach chairs. The sandy beach is calling you. How big of a sandcastle can you build?

Big Pine Lake offers some of the best water for water skiing, diving, and jumping off the pontoon into the middle of the lake. We have canoes, pontoons, boats (row and motor), and pattleboats available or bring your own watercraft to get out and have some fun!

Take on the scenic tour and explore the lake, slow down as you go under the underpass to the south side of Big Pine Lake and take in the wild life you see along your journey. Print the Big Pine Lakes North Map and you'll find the lake has lots of variety and lots sights to see. Or head south to the underpass and journey using the larger DNR Map of Big Pine Lake for even deeper water taking in the wild live that can be found near the waters edge.

Get your bait ready and hop out on the boat or fish from one of our many docks to catch the next photo worthy fish! With a maximum depth of 28 feet Big Pine Lake offers a variety of fish species. The lake thrives with Walleyes & Bass and has been shown to be 2-3 times the state average!

In addition, pan fish and northern pike populations also thrive and you may just find more Black Crappies then you can eat. You'll also have the opportunity to catch Northern Pike, Blue Gills, and Bull Heads with plenty of water to find your perfect fishing spot.
